Hi, I’m Hannah! 👋🏻
I’m a product designer 👩🏻💻 passionate about creating seamless, accessible & simplified experiences. When I’m not designing, you can find me sipping green tea 🍵 and experimenting with new recipes.
Professional Work
Over the past eight years, I’ve specialized in the Education Technology sector, with additional experience in Financial Technology, particularly in peer-to-peer fundraising. My expertise spans both commerce and product design, including web and responsive mobile design. I’ve led projects such as e-commerce checkout redesigns (B2B and B2C), international products, student experiences, website builders, and registration flows. As an end-to-end designer, I work closely with researchers and product managers to develop research plans, conduct design sprints, and perform usability testing. I use these insights to refine information architecture, prototypes, and both low and high-fidelity designs, which I then hand off to developers.
Student Onboarding Experience // Cengage
Designed a smooth journey for students, streamlining the process from courseware assignment by instructors to purchasing and onboarding onto Cengage’s platform.
Peer-to-Peer Event Registration // FrontStream Panorama
Created a streamlined registration flow enabling participants to effortlessly sign up for the non-profit’s fundraising event.
Early Learners Experience // Pearson Realize
Design a visually engaging and user-friendly experience tailored for kindergarten through 2nd grade students. This program will transform the traditional textbook experience into an interactive, digital format.
Graduate Projects
I earned my Master of Interactive Media with a concentration in UX Design from Quinnipiac University in 2017. The program provided in-depth exploration into user research, information architecture, sketching, prototyping, and usability testing. It was a valuable experience in proposing problems and devising creative solutions, enhancing my understanding of the design process. Below are some of the projects I worked on during my studies.
BosTravel App
The app was designed to assist commuters and travelers navigating the Boston public transportation system. It featured calendars and schedules, comprehensive maps and information, convenient payment options, delay notifications, scannable tickets and cards, and a history of recent trips.
Icee App
Created a visually appealing and intuitive experience for both children and adults to order ice cream before the arrival of the ice cream truck.
